Art Department

|Students Home| Departments Home | Art | Faculty |

Art students at Catonsville High School should be inventive and actively involved in the creative problem-solving process.  They should be encouraged to take risks and have perseverance to continue.

Students should have an appreciation of art as consumers and as producers of art.  They should be aware of how art relates to their world.

Students should be knowledgeable of the technological advances in the arts and it's applications in the 21st Century.  Through their art experiences, students should have a better understanding of self and self-worth.
