The School to Career
Department supports programs and services that help to prepare
students for their transition from school to career. Emphasis is
on connecting students from career instruction pathways to
business based experiences for job shadowing, internships,
apprenticeships and work experiences.
Students receive structured training and exploratory
experience at work sites under the guidance of a selected
business mentor. Most students, upon completion of their
program, will receive a skill certificate, apprenticeship
credit, state licensing, or industry recognized certification.
