Tri-M Music Honor Society Logo
The purpose of the Tri-M Music Honor Society is to recognize and honor Catonsville’s most outstanding musicians and to create opportunities for music students to serve others both musically and non-musically. Members must complete projects and/or long-term assistantships to satisfy their service commitments.
To qualify, applicants must:
1. Be in their sophomore, junior, or senior year.
2. Be enrolled in a music class every year of membership.
3. Have an “A” average in all their music classes.
4. Have at least a “C” average in all their non-music classes.
Students who wish to be considered for membership must provide a copy of their 1st quarter grades from this school year to the application and return it to their music teacher by Friday, December 3rd. Students selected for membership will be notified via letter on Friday, December 10th. The first meeting will be held from 2:45-3:15 on Wednesday, December 15th in M-2 (music classroom underneath the stage).
Monthly meetings are held after school from 2:45-3:15 on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. The induction will be held sometime in late April/early May. More information will be forthcoming.
