As we prepare for the Class of 2022’s big day, I would like to say congratulations to the graduates, their families, and friends on reaching this big day. The purpose of this message is to cover important details about (1) cap & distribution(2) the process if a student elects not to participate in graduation and most of all; (3) the number of tickets each graduate will receive.

Cap & Gown Distribution

  • WHEN: Wednesday, May 18, 2022, A-Day
    • Friends and/or siblings are not allowed to pick-up for another student, only the student and/or their parent may pick-up the package.
    • If your student did not order their cap & gown, and they are planning to participate in the graduation ceremony, email me ([email protected]) their nameheight, and weight ASAP, and I will check to see if I am able to secure a cap & gown for them.  The cost will be $8.05 + $.48 (6% sales tax) = $8.53.

  • TIME: We ask that students follow this schedule.
    • 9:10 A.M. – 9:40 A.M. – Students who have early release at the end of 1st period.
    • 10:55 A.M. – 11:15 A.M. – Students who have early release at the end of 2nd period.
    • 11:30 A.M. – 11:45 A.M. – Students who leave after A lunch.
    • 1:00 P.M. – 1:20 P.M. – Students who have early release at the end of 3rd period.
    • 2:15 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. – Students who have a full schedule.
    • 2:30 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. – Students who do not have B-Day classes.

  • WHERE: Auditorium

Graduation Ticket Distribution – Due to the size of the class, Towson allotted enough tickets for each graduate to receive 7 tickets; therefore, extra tickets are not available.  Also, in order for a graduate to receive their allotted 7 tickets, all OBLIGATIONS must be cleared.

  • WHEN: Thursday, June 8, 2022, at the conclusion of graduation rehearsal.

Students Not Participating in Graduation

  • For those students who have elected not to participate, a parent and/or guardian will need to email me ([email protected]) ASAP stating that the student has elected not to participate.

If you have any questions, feel free to email and/or call me.
