Tri-M Music Honor Society

Catonsville High School's chapter of the Tri-M Music Honor Society meets on the 3rd Wednesday of every month from 2:30-3:00.  The purpose of Tri-M is to recognize and honor Catonsville’s most outstanding musicians and to create opportunities for music students to serve others both musically and non-musically. Members must complete projects and/or long-term assistantships to satisfy their service commitments. In addition, students must perform publicly, outside of the requirements of their music classes.

All interested students must meet the following requirements in order to be considered for membership:
  • Be currently in 10th, 11th, or 12th grade
  • Be currently enrolled in a music class
  • Maintain an "A" average in music classes
  • Maintain a "C" or higher average in all other classes

Interested students submit an application to be considered for membership in mid-September.  All students accepted for membership will be notified by the end of September and inducted into the Tri-M Music Honor Society at an induction ceremony.  Annual dues are $10 for sophomores and juniors and $15 for seniors.
